[NFC][Py Reformat] Reformat python files in clang and clang-tools-extra This is an ongoing series of commits that are reformatting our Python code. Reformatting is done with black. If you end up having problems merging this commit because you have made changes to a python file, the best way to handle that is to run git checkout --ours <yourfile> and then reformat it with black. If you run into any problems, post to discourse about it and we will try to help. [clang] Revise IDE folder structure (#89743) Update the folder titles for targets in the monorepository that have not seen taken care of for some time. These are the folders that targets are organized in Visual Studio and XCode ( set_property(TARGET <target> PROPERTY FOLDER "<title>")) when using the respective CMake's IDE generator. * Ensure that every target is in a folder * Use a folder hierarchy with each LLVM subproject as a top-level folder * Use consistent folder names between subprojects * When using target-creating functions from AddLLVM.cmake, automatically deduce the folder. This reduces the number of set_property/set_target_property, but are still necessary when add_custom_target, add_executable, add_library, etc. are used. A LLVM_SUBPROJECT_TITLE definition is used for that in each subproject's root CMakeLists.txt. | 2 年前

Reapply "[Support] Remove terminfo dependency (#92865)" (#93889) This reverts commit fe82a3da36196157c0caa1ef2505186782f750d1. This broke LLDB on MacOS due to a missing symbol during linking. The fix has been applied in c6c08eee37bada190bd1aa4593c88a5e2c8cdaac. Original commit message: The terminfo dependency introduces a significant nonhermeticity into the build. It doesn't respect --no-undefined-version meaning that it's not a dependency that can be built with Clang 17+. This forces maintainers of source-based distributions to implement patches or ignore linker errors. Remove it to reduce the closure size and improve portability of LLVM-based tools. Users can still use command line arguments to toggle color support expliticly. Fixes #75490 Closes #53294 #23355 | 2 年前

[Clang][perf-training] Fix clean command in perf-helper.py (#118978) The first path argument was always being ignored, and since most calls to this command only passed one path, it wasn't actually doing anything in most cases. [-Wunsafe-buffer-usage] Add AST info to the unclaimed DRE debug notes for analysis - For a better understand of what the unsupported cases are, we add more information to the debug note---a string of ancestor AST nodes of the unclaimed DRE. For example, an unclaimed DRE p in an expression *(p++) will result in a string starting with DRE ==> UnaryOperator(++) ==> Paren ==> UnaryOperator(*). - To find out the most common patterns of those unsupported use cases, we add a simple script to build a prefix tree over those strings and count each prefix. The script reads input line by line, assumes a line is a list of words separated by ==>s, and builds a prefix tree over those lists. [bash-completion] Fix tab separation on macOS We have a regex that needs to match a tab character in the command output, but on macOS sed doesn't support '\t', causing it to split on the 't' character instead. Fix by having bash expand the \t first. llvm-svn: 333202 | 8 年前
This reverts commit 632a36bfcfc8273c1861f04ff6758d863c47c784. Some targets such as Python 2.7.16 still use VERSION in their builds. Without VERSION defined, the source code has syntax errors. Reverting as it will probably break many other things. Noticed by Sterling Augustine llvm-svn: 365992 | 6 年前

Allow passing creduce options through creduce-clang-crash.py (#92141) This change allows us to pass creduce options to creduce-clang-crash.py script. With this, --n is no longer needed to specify the number of cores, so removed the flag. The motivation is https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/87933#issuecomment-2109463497 suggests that disabling creduce renaming passes helps people to further reduce crash manually. | 2 年前
