[lldb] Fix collisions between two breakpad tests symtab-sorted-by-size.test was using the same output file name as symtab.test. | 2 年前
[lldb] Fix crash when adding members to an "incomplete" type (#102116) This fixes a regression caused by delayed type definition searching (#96755 and friends): If we end up adding a member (e.g. a typedef) to a type that we've already attempted to complete (and failed), the resulting AST would end up inconsistent (we would start to "forcibly" complete it, but never finish it), and importing it into an expression AST would crash. This patch fixes this by detecting the situation and finishing the definition as well. (cherry picked from commit 57cd1000c9c93fd0e64352cfbc9fbbe5b8a8fcef) | 1 年前

[lldb][PDB] Fix message order in test case Launch/stopped ordering was fixed by bd8f1068cad06b0f0342ac7ef351bf01c2e27322 but the Windows on Arm bot wasn't running at the time it landed. | 2 年前
Disable symbol on-demand feature for Windows Symbol on-demand feature is never tested on Windows so it is not a surprise that we are getting Buildbot failure from Windows: https://lab.llvm.org/buildbot/#/builders/83/builds/18228 This patch disables symbol on-demand feature on Windows. I will find a Windows machine to test and re-enable symbol on-demand feature as follow-up. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D124471 | 4 年前
Emit the correct flags for the PROC CodeView Debug Symbol The S_LPROC32_ID and S_GPROC32_ID CodeView Debug Symbols have a flags field which LLVM has had the values for (in the ProcSymFlags enum) but has never actually set. These flags are used by Microsoft-internal tooling that leverages debug information to do binary analysis. Modified LLVM to set the correct flags: - ProcSymFlags::HasOptimizedDebugInfo - always set, as this indicates that debug info is present for optimized builds (if debug info is not emitted for optimized builds, then LLVM won't emit a debug symbol at all). - ProcSymFlags::IsNoReturn and ProcSymFlags::IsNoInline - set if the function has the NoReturn or NoInline attributes respectively. - ProcSymFlags::HasFP - set if the function requires a frame pointer (per TargetFrameLowering::hasFP). Per discussion in review, XFAIL'ing lldb test until someone working on lldb has a chance to look at it. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D148761 | 3 年前

[lldb] Fix help syntax for add-dsym (target symbols add) (#98976) The help output incorrectly states that this command takes a shared library name (<shlib-name>) while really it takes a path to a symbol file. rdar://131777043 | 2 年前
Re-land "[test] Split LLDB tests into API, Shell & Unit" The original patch got reverted because it broke check-lldb on a clean build. This fixes that. llvm-svn: 374201 | 6 年前
[lldb] Require x86 for various NativePDB, Breakpad and Minidump tests These tests fail if you build without the x86 llvm backend. [lldb] Revive shell test after updating UnwindTable (#86770) In commit 2f63718f8567413a1c596bda803663eb58d6da5a Author: Jason Molenda <jmolenda@apple.com> Date: Tue Mar 26 09:07:15 2024 -0700 [lldb] Don't clear a Module's UnwindTable when adding a SymbolFile (#86603) I stopped clearing a Module's UnwindTable when we add a SymbolFile to avoid the memory management problems with adding a symbol file asynchronously while the UnwindTable is being accessed on another thread. This broke the target-symbols-add-unwind.test shell test on Linux which removes the DWARF debub_frame section from a binary, loads it, then loads the unstripped binary with the DWARF debug_frame section and checks that the UnwindPlans for a function include debug_frame. I originally decided that I was willing to sacrifice the possiblity of additional unwind sources from a symbol file because we rely on assembly emulation so heavily, they're rarely critical. But there are targets where we we don't have emluation and rely on things like DWARF debug_frame a lot more, so this probably wasn't a good choice. This patch adds a new UnwindTable::Update method which looks for any new sources of unwind information and adds it to the UnwindTable, and calls that after a new SymbolFile has been added to a Module. | 2 年前 |
