| u-boot: v2026.01: fix BTRFS zstd decompression failure (error 70) U-Boot's generic zstd_decompress() wrapper fails when used by BTRFS due to two sector-alignment mismatches: 1. Compressed extents are stored padded to sector boundaries (4096), but zstd_decompress_dctx() rejects trailing data after the frame. 2. BTRFS compresses in sector-sized blocks, so the zstd frame content size may exceed ram_bytes. When the output buffer is sized to ram_bytes, zstd_decompress_dctx() returns dstSize_tooSmall (error 70). Symptoms on zstd-compressed BTRFS partition: zstd_decompress: failed to decompress: 70 BTRFS: An error occurred while reading file /boot/boot.scr Fix by calling zstd_decompress_dctx() directly with: - zstd_find_frame_compressed_size() to strip sector padding from input - ZSTD_getFrameContentSize() to allocate a larger output buffer when the frame decompresses beyond the caller's buffer size Tested on Helios64 (RK3399) booting from BTRFS+zstd SD card. | 5 个月前 |

| orangepi3b: one U-Boot image for NVMe and SATA, fix overlay prefix (#10896) The M.2 slot uses combphy2 as PCIe or as SATA. U-Boot now tries PCIe first. On link failure, AHCI takes the PHY. The separate -sata SPI image and its build hooks go away. Mainline overlays are rockchip-rk3566-*.dtbo. Set the prefix for current and edge, so overlays=sata2 works. The vendor branch keeps rk35xx. | Helios64: update uBoot to v2026-01-rc5 - Switched to the binman-atf-mainline scenario with the same rkbin DDR blob rk3399_ddr_933MHz_v1.25.bin (TPL blob, as in the old working loader). DRAM init is correct, full 4 GB visible, Linux boots. - U-Boot and DTS updated to v2026.01-rc5. Added MDIO/PHY node and phy-handle in rk3399-kobol- helios64.dts, fixing “mdio node is missing”. Disabled i2s2 in the U-Boot DT to avoid rockchip- i2s ... Could not register PCM. - boot_targets in U-Boot config shortened (mmc1, scsi0, usb0, pxe, dhcp) to avoid env_buf ... too small; however, the last built binary still shows the warning (needs rebuild with the shortened list or enlarging the buffer). - Boot flow: bootstd scans SD (mmc0) and eMMC (mmc1); SD boot works even without mmc0 in boot_targets. - Other changes: defconfig has CONFIG_ROCKCHIP_EXTERNAL_TPL=y to use the external DDR blob. | pci: pcie_dw_rockchip: increase PCIe retry count for Rock 5B cold boot On RK3588 (Rock 5B), NVMe drives fail to enumerate after a cold boot (complete power loss) because the PCIe link does not train within the original 10-retry / 1s window. Warm boots succeed because the NVMe retains power and is already initialized when LTSSM starts. Increase the retry count from 10 to 25 (2.5s total at 100ms per retry). The pre-PERST stabilization delay remains at 100ms so warm-boot performance is unaffected — the extra time is only consumed when the link fails to come up on the first few attempts, which only occurs on a cold boot where the NVMe needs time to stabilize after power-on. Tested on Rock 5B: cold boot from full power cycle now reliably enumerates the NVMe drive. | 5 个月前 |
