Annotate: one key, a pen toolbar, no pins or undo (#427) - One Annotate key: tap to start and stop; held while recording, the pointer draws with no click (macOS and Linux; Linux reads the portal's Activated/Deactivated). The separate Ctrl+Alt+D draw shortcut is gone. Linux defaults to F9; saved bindings stay. - The recording capsule is `● 0:07 │ ✎ │ ■ ✕`: icons only, no Area/Window/Screen chips. The pen toggles drawing and lights with the accent fill; ■ stops; ✕ keeps the two-step discard. Tooltips: Draw, Stop, Discard. - While drawing the ink overlay takes the pointer with a pen cursor; on Linux it leaves a hole over the capsule so the pen can be clicked off. Esc stops drawing, never the recording. Shift still draws on the Mac. - Pins (Shift-click, click while drawing) and undo (⌘Z, Ctrl+Z, right-click) are removed with their plumbing. - How it works in Settings › Annotate lists the new steps, in all six languages. Goldens: recording, recording-drawing. | 8 days ago |
