Regenerate precompiled headers This change regenerates precompiled headers throughout the tree. It also adds a pch.h file for the newly-created usdLod schema domain. (Internal change: 2414923) | 4 个月前
Add splines to value clips. A resolve info source of UsdResolveInfoSourceValueClips can now be backed by either splines in clips or time samples in clips. To disambiguate, the private field `_clipsSourceFormat` is added to UsdResolveInfo. Updates usdview spline editor to open on attr HasSpline instead of UsdResolveInfoSourceSpline. Updates the "stitch clips" utility to correctly propagate spline annotations in clip manifest files, and to drop authored splines from created topology files. (Internal change: 2417232) | 3 个月前

OpenExec: Invertible rigs doc updates - Flesh out the execIr readme more fully, though there's definitely more to be done here. - Link from the invertibleRigsExample readme to execIr docs. - Remove the mention of the term "rocker," since we now believe that what we've built really is a waddler. - Change the FkController docs to allow for the possibility of hierarchies of controllers, not just linear chains. OpenExec: Update execUsd README so it links to key generated documentation, so it serves as a kind of landing page for the functionality it embodies. (Internal change: 2417249) | 3 个月前

OpenExec: Adds an IrFkController schema with computations that implement the beginnings of invertible rigging capabilities. The functionality here is extremely limited, just providing the underlying math for forward and inverse computations for an FK controller that takes scalar translate and rotate attribute values as input, along with a parent space, and produces a posed space. In the near term, we plan to build on this by adding needed OpenExec core features, including native support for compiling networks that compute inverses. The goal of that work will be to create networks of connected FK controllers that can be used to do simple posing, and to use inversion to demonstrate how these modular structures can be built up to create useful behaviors. Longer term, we expect to abandon the monolithic schema approach, and instead use a combination of typed schemas like the one defined here in combination with applied schemas to enable controllers that can be configured via schema application to create desired sets of behaviors. We will also add more capabilities than the ones supported here, including other types of FK controller inputs, as well as other types of controllers, including IK controllers, which are necessary to flesh out the features needed by an actual rigging system. OpenExec: Documentation improvements - Add a top-level README.md file in pxr/exec. Doxygen ignores this file, but the idea is that this can probide top-level documentation in github, redirecting to execUsd as the main entry point for OpenExec. - Expand execUsd documentation slightly, mainly to provide a skeleton for coming documentation, including OpenExec tutorials. OpenExec
OpenExec supports efficient computation of values that are derived from data encoded in USD scenes. Computational behaviors can be published for USD schemas. These computations are ingested by OpenExec, along with a composed scene, to yield structures that OpenExec uses to compute and cache values, with support for invalidating cached values in response to scene changes.
The execUsd library is the primary entry point for OpenExec.
