feat: quantize colors in perceptual Oklab space Replace PIL's RGB median cut with an Oklab-space Heckbert median cut: buckets split at the midpoint of the widest axis, palette entries are the sRGB means of their buckets, and bucket bounds are tracked incrementally so each split gathers one coordinate column. Against the previous quantizer across the private test set, mean absolute error improves on four of five images and on the 64 px thumbnail on all five, output shrinks on all five (up to -9.5 percent), and conversion time stays par. Measured with --score. Float32 interval cuts retire exhausted buckets instead of spinning. The docs sample and README figures are regenerated accordingly. | 8 天前 | |
