Use g_clear_*() ... instead of manually checking for NULL before clearing and/or later assigning the variable to NULL. A nice benefit of this is that we now actually check that the types match, because there were a lot of guint<=>gulong mixups. As a reminder: * GSource IDs are guint * signal IDs are gulong No, I didn't rememer that either. Done by gobject-linter.
