Retire the ifcopenshell-python dev_environment.py in favour of poe dev-setup The script symlinked the repo packages into the user site-packages. Editable installs do the same job properly (dist-info, dependencies, entry points) and `poe dev-setup` already did them for a subset of packages, so extend it to cover every package the script linked and drop the script. Nothing in the docs or CI referenced it. The installs are ordered so that a package comes after the repo packages it depends on (ifctester -> bcf-client, ifcedit -> ifc5d, ifcmcp -> ifcquery and ifcedit), otherwise uv resolves those from PyPI. cleanup from original python alignment prototyping `transition_curve.py` is now obsolete and has been removed. A python port of IfcAlignmentHelper.cpp has also been started. It needs further development to accommodate vertical alignment. | 1 年前 | |
Point references to the v0.8.0 branch to v0.9.0 v0.9.0 is the default branch now. - The AI chat app and pyodide demo app workflows still only published on pushes to v0.8.0, unlike every other publish workflow. - Docs "edit this page" links (source_branch in the three Sphinx configs), repository links in docs, CITATION.cff files and the choco licence URL. All link targets were checked to exist on v0.9.0. The translations docs pointed to scripts/bbim_translations.py, which was renamed to bonsai_translations.py. - The bSDD client User-Agent. - pyodide README no longer names a versioned build folder. Left alone as they record what produced a file or pin an artifact that exists: IFC fixture headers, wasm wheel URLs, the ifcsverchok-0.8.2 download, the AWS Dockerfile build id, conda's "v0.8.0 Stable" and the old builds list. cmake: use underscores in the core shared library names The plugins that are loaded by name are called ifcopenshell_*, but the four core shared libraries kept dotted names: ifcopenshell.parse, ifcopenshell.geometry, ifcopenshell.geometry.writer and ifcopenshell.plugin. Dots in library names trip up tools that expect [A-Za-z0-9_-], and every packaging filter had to handle both conventions. Rename them to ifcopenshell_parse, ifcopenshell_geometry, ifcopenshell_geometry_writer and ifcopenshell_plugin (#9328). Everything that matched the old names is updated with them: - Plugin discovery. ifcopenshell_geometry_writer starts with ifcopenshell_geometry_, so where libraries have no lib prefix (Windows) a scan for geometry serializers would pick the core library up and try to load it as a plugin. discover() now skips the core libraries. - win/common.py is_geometry_writer(). It matched the dotted core writer name and the per-schema plugins separately; it now matches both with a single prefix that has no trailing separator, so the core writer still stays out of the archives. build-all-win.py no longer needs the dotted prefix to collect runtime plugins. - The macOS app bundle EXCLUDE regex in cmake/utilities.cmake. - Comments in the Makefile, cmake/utilities.cmake, ifcviewer-minimal and svgfill. | 6 天前 | |
