docs/specs/fw_cfg: Document all architecture register layouts We implement the fw_cfg device for more architectures and machines that we let on about in our documentation. Luckily most of the new ones (notably riscv and loongarch) have followed the straightforward layout that the Arm virt board picked. Restructure the documentation to present this as the "standard" layout, followed by the other layouts used by various other boards for historical reasons. This adds PA-RISC, SPARC, PPC and MIPS. qapi/qapidoc: add rendering for INTRO sections Amend the qapidoc generator to handle and render INTRO sections. The only real difference here from other sections is that we need to dedent the text so it renders correctly. Members and Features are also indented, but do not require a dedent() because they are always used in tandem with an rST construct that forms the start of a new indented block; there is coincidental harmony. Plaintext sections, however, do not start their own block and thus need to be dedented to prevent accidentally rendering them as a blockquote or a syntax error. This dedent transformation on the text does not reflow the text, so source line information remains accurate, and the "blame" chain of custody for sphinx rST parsing error messages continues to be correct even through this transformation. qemu-img: add sub-command --remove-all to 'qemu-img bitmap' From time to time it is needed to remove all bitmaps from the image. Before this patch the process is not very convenient. One should perform qemu-img info and parse the output to obtain all names. After that one should sequentially call qemu-img bitmap --remove for each present bitmap. The patch adds --remove-all sub-command to 'qemu-img bitmap'. The new sub-command also composes with other bitmap actions in the same invocation, so a common "wipe and recreate" workflow can be expressed as qemu-img bitmap --remove-all --add NEW FILE instead of enumerating existing bitmaps, removing them one by one, and only then adding the fresh one. tools/qemu-vnc: add standalone VNC server over D-Bus Add a standalone VNC server binary that connects to a running QEMU instance via the D-Bus display interface (org.qemu.Display1, via the bus or directly p2p). This allows serving a VNC display without compiling VNC support directly into the QEMU system emulator, and enables running the VNC server as a separate process with independent lifecycle and privilege domain. Built only when both VNC and D-Bus display support are enabled. If we wanted to have qemu -vnc disabled, and qemu-vnc built, we would need to split CONFIG_VNC. This is left as a future exercise. Current omissions include some QEMU VNC runtime features (better handled via restart), legacy options, and Windows support. Reviewed-by: Daniel P.
