libutee: add <elf.h> Preparing for C++ support in TAs. Adds header file <elf.h> in addition to <elf32.h> and <elf64.h>. This file defines the various Elf types depending on the current architecture. In other words: when building for Aarch32 Elf_* is defined as Elf32_*, but when building for Aarch64 it is defined as Elf64_*. This will be useful for programs which need to examine their own structure via dl_iterate_phdr() (which will come in a later commit). Note: <elf.h> serves the same purpose as FreeBSD's <sys/elf.h> but does it differently; the file is not imported from FreeBSD. ldelf, libutee: add minimal Thread Local Storage support Preparing for C++ support in TAs. Adds enough runtime Thread Local Storage (TLS) support for the GNU C++ compilers (arm-linux-gnueabihf-g++, aarch64-linux-gnu-g++) to work with OP-TEE. That is: - A Thread Control Block, - The __tls_get_addr() and dl_iterate_phdr() functions. Note that __tls_get_addr() is an ABI helper so it has no prototype in a user-accessible header file. dl_iterate_phdr() however is defined in <link.h> and may be used in a TA. The file lib/libutee/include/link.h is borrowed from Android's Bionic [1] with minor changes (added the required #include statement and named the function parameters). A similar <link.h> header is provided by other C libraries such as GNU libc, musl and FreeBSD/NetBSD/OpenBSD. core: pta: add remote attestation PTA Add a PTA to perform remote attestation of user space TAs and TEE core memory. Enabled with CFG_ATTESTATION_PTA=y. Four commands are defined: - PTA_ATTESTATION_GET_PUBKEY Returns the public RSA key used to sign the measurements generated by the other commands. The key pair is generated on first call (any command) and saved to secure storage. It is therefore device-specific. - PTA_ATTESTATION_GET_TA_SHDR_DIGEST Returns the digest found in the secure header (struct shdr) of a TA or trusted shared library given its UUID. - PTA_ATTESTATION_HASH_TA_MEMORY This command must be called by a user space TA (not a CA). It computes a hash of the memory pages that belong to the caller and contain code or read-only data. This hash is therefore a runtime measurement of the TA execution environment, including shared libraries (if any). It can be used to remotely attest that the device is running untampered TA code. - PTA_ATTESTATION_HASH_TEE_MEMORY Returns a hash of the TEE OS core (.text and .rodata sections, less the small part of .text that may be modified at boot). Similar to PTA_ATTESTATION_HASH_TA_MEMORY, the hash is computed each time the command is called, so that the result reflects the actual memory content. In case if timestamp buffer is allocated in userspace and new register user memory API is used for its registering in OP-TEE (introduced in optee_client commit 27888d73d156 ("tee_client_api: register user memory")), there is no possibility to keep this mapping permanent among different TEEC_InvokeCommand invocations, as all SHM are automatically unmapped from OP-TEE VA space after TEEC_InvokeCommand is handled by OP-TEE. Remove libmpa in favor of libmbedtls We currently have two "big numbers" library, Mbed TLS and MPA. Both can be used by libutee to implement the TEE Internal Core API Arithmetical functions, and by the TEE core or pseudo-TAs. This situation is reflected by two configuration variables allowing to choose between libmbedtls and libmpa: - CFG_TA_MBEDTLS_MPI (default y) configures libutee, - CFG_CORE_MBEDTLS_MPI (default y) configures the TEE core/PTAs. In addition there is CFG_TA_MBEDTLS (default y, mandatory when CFG_TA_MBEDTLS_MPI is y) to build libmbedtls and install it into the SDK for direct use by TAs (libmbedtls also has function to deal with certificates for instance). MBed TLS has been supported and used by default for just over a year; and we have recently found an issue with the MPA implementation of the integer multiplication with modulus (mpa_mulmod()) [1] [2]. Therefore, now is a good time to remove libmpa and use libmbedtls instead. GP131: Add TA property gpd.ta.doesNotCloseHandleOnCorruptObject Adds the TA property gpd.ta.doesNotCloseHandleOnCorruptObject. All syscalls operating on an object handle and can return TEE_ERROR_CORRUPT_OBJECT must also do special treatment when TEE_ERROR_CORRUPT_OBJECT is returned. Prior to gpd.ta.doesNotCloseHandleOnCorruptObject this meant removing the object and closing the object handle. With the gpd.ta.doesNotCloseHandleOnCorruptObject property the object handle shouldn't be close if this the current TA has the property set to true. Use struct utee_object_info in TA syscall abi TEE_ObjectInfo was until now used in the syscall ABI provided to TAs. TEE_ObjectInfo changes in later versions of the TEE Internal Core API so add an independent definition with struct utee_object_info in order to preserve a stable ABI.
