Expected behavior

• Be respectful, patient, and specific in technical discussion.
• Critique ideas and code, not people.
• Assume good intent while remaining open to correction.
• Share context, acknowledge uncertainty, and avoid overstating evidence.
• Respect privacy, security embargoes, licenses, and attribution.
• Help keep discussions focused and accessible to new contributors.

Unacceptable behavior

Harassment, discrimination, threats, stalking, unwanted sexual attention, insults, deliberate intimidation, doxxing, publication of private information, bad-faith disruption, and retaliation are not acceptable. Repeatedly ignoring maintainer direction or using project spaces to promote unrelated commercial or political campaigns may also be moderated.

Enforcement

Report conduct concerns privately to project maintainers through the repository hosting service or organization contact. Do not require a reporter to confront the subject publicly. Maintainers should handle reports confidentially, avoid conflicts of interest, gather relevant context, and choose proportionate action.

Actions may include a private warning, content removal, temporary participation limits, removal from project spaces, or a permanent ban. Serious threats or illegal conduct may be referred to the relevant platform or authorities. Good- faith reporters and participants in an investigation must not be retaliated against.

This code applies to project repositories, issue trackers, reviews, discussions, events, and public representation of the project.
