selftests: mqueue: delete RUN_TESTS and EMIT_TESTS overrides Delete RUN_TESTS and EMIT_TESTS overrides and use common defines in lib.mk. The overrides are in place to call mq_open_tests with queue name argument. The change to delete overrides is coupled with a change to mq_open_tests to use default queue name when it is called without one. selftests: mqueue: return Kselftest Skip code for skipped tests When mqueue test is skipped because of unmet dependencies and/or unsupported configuration, it exits with error which is treated as a fail by the Kselftest framework. This leads to false negative result even when the test could not be run. Change it to return kselftest skip code when a test gets skipped to clearly report that the test could not be run. Change it to use ksft_exit_skip() when the test is skipped. Signed-off-by: Shuah Khan (Samsung OSG) <shuah@kernel.org> | 7 年前 | |
testing/selftests/mqueue: Fix mq_perf_tests to free the allocated cpu set stable inclusion from stable-v5.10.112 commit 280f721edc54a782f1dfcec573ee929e92bf186a category: bugfix bugzilla: https://gitee.com/openeuler/kernel/issues/I5HL0X Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id=280f721edc54a782f1dfcec573ee929e92bf186a -------------------------------- [ Upstream commit ce64763c63854b4079f2e036638aa881a1fb3fbc ] The selftest "mqueue/mq_perf_tests.c" use CPU_ALLOC to allocate CPU set. This cpu set is used further in pthread_attr_setaffinity_np and by pthread_create in the code. But in current code, allocated cpu set is not freed. Fix this issue by adding CPU_FREE in the "shutdown" function which is called in most of the error/exit path for the cleanup. There are few error paths which exit without using shutdown. Add a common goto error path with CPU_FREE for these cases. selftests/mqueue: Set timeout to 180 seconds stable inclusion from stable-v5.10.215 commit 8f5dfcbf962dbda3ec3a19ff260081dd6b48aea4 category: bugfix bugzilla: https://gitee.com/openeuler/kernel/issues/IAJJ2D Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id=8f5dfcbf962dbda3ec3a19ff260081dd6b48aea4 -------------------------------- [ Upstream commit 85506aca2eb4ea41223c91c5fe25125953c19b13 ] While mq_perf_tests runs with the default kselftest timeout limit, which is 45 seconds, the test takes about 60 seconds to complete on i3.metal AWS instances. Hence, the test always times out. Increase the timeout to 180 seconds.
