We opted to give ti a chance, and, instead of deprecating it, the intention is to write patches migrating it from VB1 to VB2. - av7110 returned from staging/deprecated/ to staging/ as we're not planning on dropping it any time soon - media controller API has gained experimental support for G_ROUTING and streams API. No drivers use it right now. media: dvb: add DVB-C2 and DVB-S2X parameter values Extend the DVB frontend parameter enums with additional values specified by the DVB-C2 (ETSI EN 302 769) and DVB-S2X (ETSI EN 302 307-2) standards to be ready for frontend drivers for such receivers. While most parameters will be "read-only" due to being autodetected by the receiver and only being reported back for informational purposes, the addition of SYS_DVBC2 to the delivery systems enum is required, because there are DVB-C2 capable receivers which are not capable of DVB-C/C2 autodetection and thus need this enum value to be explicitly instructed to search for a DVB-C2 signal. As for DVB-S2X, as that is an extension to DVB-S2, the same delivery system enum as for DVB-S2 can be used. Add the additional enum values and comments to the documentation. This makes little sense, as if a pad is part of a pipeline, there are very few use cases for an active link to be mandatory only if links exist at all. A review of in-tree drivers confirms they all need an enabled link for pads marked with the MEDIA_PAD_FL_MUST_CONNECT flag. Expand the scope of the flag by rejecting pads that have no links at all. This requires modifying the pipeline build code to add those pads to the pipeline. Due to that, the atomisp2 ov2680 staging one was removed - the bttv driver was finally converted to videobuf2 framework. This was the last one upstream using videobuf version 1 core. We'll likely remove the old videobuf framework on 6.7 - lots of improvements at atomisp driver: it now works with normal I2C sensors.
