KVM: arm64: Document vCPU feature selection UAPIs mainline inclusion from mainline-v6.7-rc1 commit dafa493dd01d5992f1cb70b08d1741c3ab99e04a category: feature bugzilla: https://gitee.com/openeuler/kernel/issues/IBN3WI CVE: NA Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=dafa493dd01d5992f1cb70b08d1741c3ab99e04a ------------------------------------------------------------------------ KVM/arm64 has a couple schemes for handling vCPU feature selection now, which is a lot to put on userspace. Add some documentation about how these interact and provide some recommendations for how to use the writable ID register scheme. KVM: SEV: Add KVM_SEV_SNP_LAUNCH_FINISH command mainline inclusion from mainline-v6.11-rc1 commit ad27ce155566f2b4400fa865859834592bd18777 category: feature bugzilla: https://atomgit.com/openeuler/kernel/issues/126 CVE: NA Reference: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/ad27ce155566f2b4400fa865859834592bd18777 -------------------------------- commit ad27ce155566f2b4400fa865859834592bd18777 upstream Add a KVM_SEV_SNP_LAUNCH_FINISH command to finalize the cryptographic launch digest which stores the measurement of the guest at launch time. Also extend the existing SNP firmware data structures to support disabling the use of Versioned Chip Endorsement Keys (VCEK) by guests as part of this command. While finalizing the launch flow, the code also issues the LAUNCH_UPDATE SNP firmware commands to encrypt/measure the initial VMSA pages for each configured vCPU, which requires setting the RMP entries for those pages to private, so also add handling to clean up the RMP entries for these pages whening freeing vCPUs during shutdown. KVM: fix documentation for KVM_CREATE_GUEST_MEMFD mainline inclusion from mainline-v6.10-rc1 commit 2098acaf24455698c149b27f0347eb4ddc6d2058 category: feature bugzilla: https://atomgit.com/openeuler/kernel/issues/126 CVE: NA Reference: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/2098acaf24455698c149b27f0347eb4ddc6d2058 -------------------------------- commit 2098acaf24455698c149b27f0347eb4ddc6d2058 upstream The KVM_CREATE_GUEST_MEMFD ioctl returns a file descriptor, and is documented as such in the description. However, the "Returns" field in the documentation states that the ioctl returns 0 on success. Update this to match the description.
