tools/resolve_btfids: Add /libsubcmd to .gitignore Add libsubcmd to .gitignore, otherwise after compiling the kernel it would result in the following: # bpf-next...bpf-next/master ?? tools/bpf/resolve_btfids/libsubcmd/ Signed-off-by: Rong Tao <rongtao@cestc.cn> Signed-off-by: Daniel Borkmann <daniel@iogearbox.net> Acked-by: Jiri Olsa <jolsa@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/bpf/tencent_F13D670D5D7AA9C4BD868D3220921AAC090A@qq.com | 3 年前 | |
tools/resolve_btfids: Compile resolve_btfids as host program Making resolve_btfids to be compiled as host program so we can avoid cross compile issues as reported by Nathan. Also we no longer need HOST_OVERRIDES for BINARY target, just for 'prepare' targets. tools/resolve_btfids: Fix build when cross compiling kernel with clang. stable inclusion from stable-v6.6.94 commit 37a75cd83ddee0cb724c1713114c611d9857243b category: bugfix bugzilla: https://atomgit.com/openeuler/kernel/issues/8365 Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id=37a75cd83ddee0cb724c1713114c611d9857243b -------------------------------- commit a298bbab903e3fb4cbe16d36d6195e68fad1b776 upstream. When cross compiling the kernel with clang, we need to override CLANG_CROSS_FLAGS when preparing the step libraries. Prior to commit d1d096312176 ("tools: fix annoying "mkdir -p ..." logs when building tools in parallel"), MAKEFLAGS would have been set to a value that wouldn't set a value for CLANG_CROSS_FLAGS, hiding the fact that we weren't properly overriding it. resolve_btfids: Handle presence of .BTF.base section mainline inclusion from mainline-v6.11-rc1 commit 6ba77385f386053cea2a1cad33717de74a26db4e category: feature bugzilla: https://atomgit.com/openeuler/kernel/issues/8335 CVE: NA Reference: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=6ba77385f386053cea2a1cad33717de74a26db4e ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that btf_parse_elf() handles .BTF.base section presence, we need to ensure that resolve_btfids uses .BTF.base when present rather than the vmlinux base BTF passed in via the -B option. Detect .BTF.base section presence and unset the base BTF path to ensure that BTF ELF parsing will do the right thing.
