most: tell what the MOST acronym means Tell kconfig users what "MOST" means so that they can have a bit of information about what it is. I.e., more than zero information. drivers: most: add ALSA sound driver This patch moves the ALSA sound driver out of the staging area and adds it to the stable part of the MOST driver. Modifications to the Makefiles and Kconfigs are done accordingly to not break the build. staging: most: Replace all non-returning strlcpy with strscpy strlcpy() reads the entire source buffer first. This read may exceed the destination size limit. This is both inefficient and can lead to linear read overflows if a source string is not NUL-terminated [1]. In an effort to remove strlcpy() completely [2], replace strlcpy() here with strscpy(). No return values were used, so direct replacement is safe. most: core: Constify static attribute_group structs The only usage of these is to put their addresses in arrays of pointers to const attribute_groups. Make them const to allow the compiler to put them in read-only memory. driver core: class: remove module * from class_create() The module pointer in class_create() never actually did anything, and it shouldn't have been requred to be set as a parameter even if it did something. So just remove it and fix up all callers of the function in the kernel tree at the same time. Cc: "Rafael J.
