media: platform: ti: fix the return value handle for platform_get_irq() There is no possible for platform_get_irq() to return 0, and the return value of platform_get_irq() is more sensible to show the error reason. media: v4l: async: Set v4l2_device and subdev in async notifier init Set the v4l2_device already in async notifier init, so struct device related to it will be available before the notifier is registered. This requires separating notifier initialisation into two functions, one that takes v4l2_device as its argument, v4l2_async_nf_init and v4l2_async_subdev_nf_init, for sub-device notifiers. Registering the notifier will use a single function, v4l2_async_nf_register. This is done in order to make struct device available earlier, during construction of the async connections, for sensible debug prints. media: davinci: vpif: Fix memory leak in probe error path stable inclusion from stable-6.6.95 commit ec5c328606baacb98b6c8117de1396191cdbeeec category: bugfix issue: #ICCW0G CVE: NA Signed-off-by: Li Nan <linan122@huawei.com> --------------------------------------- commit 024bf40edf1155e7a587f0ec46294049777d9b02 upstream. If an error occurs during the initialization of pdev_display, the allocated platform device pdev_capture is not released properly, leading to a memory leak. Adjust error path handling to fix the leak. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE. media: omap_vout: Convert to platform remove callback returning void The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. media: omap3isp: use sgtable-based scatterlist wrappers stable inclusion from stable-6.6.95 commit dfb2add0baa7ef47cff60c2afca28b364098d79a category: bugfix issue: #ICCW0G CVE: NA Signed-off-by: Li Nan <linan122@huawei.com> --------------------------------------- commit 3de572fe2189a4a0bd80295e1f478401e739498e upstream. Use common wrappers operating directly on the struct sg_table objects to fix incorrect use of scatterlists sync calls. dma_sync_sg_for_*() functions have to be called with the number of elements originally passed to dma_map_sg_*() function, not the one returned in sgtable's nents.
