vdpa: add vdpa simulator for block device This will allow running vDPA for virtio block protocol. It's a preliminary implementation with a simple request handling: for each request, only the status (last byte) is set. It's always set to VIRTIO_BLK_S_OK. Also input validation is missing and will be added in the next commits. vhost: move vdpa group bound check to vhost_vdpa mainline inclusion from mainline-6.6.100 commit cd025c1e876b4e262e71398236a1550486a73ede category: bugfix issue: #722 CVE: CVE-2026-43248 ------------------------------- vhost: move vdpa group bound check to vhost_vdpa Remove duplication by consolidating these here. This reduces the posibility of a parent driver missing them. While we're at it, fix a bug in vdpa_sim where a valid ASID can be assigned to a group equal to ngroups, causing an out of bound write. vdpa_sim: move buffer allocation in the devices Currently, the vdpa_sim core does not use the buffer, but only allocates it. The buffer is used by devices differently, and some future devices may not use it. So let's move all its management inside the devices. Add a new free device callback called to clean up the resources allocated by the device. vdpa_sim_blk: allocate the buffer zeroed [ Upstream commit 0d82410252ea324f0064e75b9865bb74cccc1dda ] Deleting and recreating a device can lead to having the same content as the old device, so let's always allocate buffers completely zeroed out.
