Agent-first UI framework in ArkTS — native on OpenHarmony, Android, iOS and Linux.

Getting Started

Requirements: Linux x64/arm64 · macOS arm64 · Node.js ≥ 18 · unzip

Those are the requirements for using the SDK. Developing the framework itself — building this repository — additionally needs a C++ compiler, the libc++ headers, and npm pointed at the internal registry. See docs/second-brain/40_Development_Workflow/Setup_Guide.md, or run npm run preflight:host in a checkout to see what a machine is missing.

1. Install the SDK — one line:

curl -fsSL https://nexus.cn.bz-openlab.ru:10443/repository/arkui3-sdk/install.sh -o /tmp/arkui3.sh && bash /tmp/arkui3.sh
export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"

Installs to ~/.arkui3-<version>/ and toggles the ~/.arkui3 symlink — the previous install is never touched until the new one has downloaded, verified and staged. Rollback is one link: ln -sfn ~/.arkui3-<old-version> ~/.arkui3. Uninstall: bash /tmp/arkui3.sh --uninstall.

2. Create and run your first app:

arkui3 create my-app && cd my-app
arkui3 run -p linux        # also: -p android, -p ohos

3. No terminal? One sentence to your AI agent:

Install the arkui3 SDK from https://nexus.cn.bz-openlab.ru:10443/repository/arkui3-sdk/install.sh and create + run a demo app.

The agent runs the install, scaffolds, builds and verifies — you watch.

Two steps stay yours, because the agent rules in CLAUDE.md forbid the agent from running them: installing system packages (sudo) and configuring the npm registry (.npmrc). The agent prints the exact commands and you run them. This only comes up when building the repository rather than using the SDK.
