Background
issue #16 reported CVE-2023-30571 affects libarchive 3.8.9 in openEuler-26.09.
Analysis
The vulnerable code in archive_write_disk_posix.c:
_archive_write_disk_headerand L2018archive_write_disk_newboth useumask(a->user_umask = umask(0))Upstream never shipped the fix in a release: 3.7.1/3.7.2/3.8.0/3.8.9 all carry the vulnerable form (upstream issue #1876 still open). Fixes only exist on master:
