Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepo to reflect the new license. We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach. Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and repository. llvm-svn: 351636 | 7 年前

[CloneFunction][DebugInfo] Avoid cloning DILexicalBlocks of inlined subprograms If DISubpogram was not cloned (e.g. we are cloning a function that has other functions inlined into it, and subprograms of the inlined functions are not supposed to be cloned), it doesn't make sense to clone its DILexicalBlocks as well. Otherwise we'll get duplicated DILexicalBlocks that may confuse debug info emission in AsmPrinter. I believe it also makes no sense cloning any DILocalVariables or maybe other local entities, if their parent subprogram was not cloned, cause they will be dangling and will not participate in futher emission. [CodeMoverUtils] Enhance isSafeToMoveBefore() when control flow equivalence is satisfied With improved analysis in determining CFG equivalence that does not require strict dominance and post-dominance conditions, we now relax isSafeToMoveBefore() such that an instruction I can be moved before InsertPoint even if they do not strictly dominate each other, as long as they follow the same control flow path. For example, we can move Instruction 0 before Instruction 1, and vice versa. if (cond1) // Instruction 0: %add = add i32 1, 2 if (cond1) // Instruction 1: %add2 = add i32 2, 1 Reviewed By: Whitney Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D110456 | 4 年前
[Debugify] Optimize debugify original mode Before we start addressing the issue with having a lot of false positives when using debugify in the original mode, we have made a few patches that should speed up the execution of the testing utility Passes. For example, when testing a large project (let's say LLVM project itself), we can face a lot of potential DI issues. Usually, we use -verify-each-debuginfo-preserve (that is very similar to -debugify-each) -- it collects DI metadata before each Pass, and after the Pass it checks if the Pass preserved the DI metadata. However, we can speed up this process, since we don't need to collect DI metadata before each Pass -- we could use the DI metadata that are collected after the previous Pass from the pipeline as an input for the next Pass. This patch speeds up the utility for ~2x. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D115622 | 4 年前

[LoopRotate] add ability to repeat loop rotation until non-deoptimizing exit is found In case of loops with multiple exit where all-but-one exit are deoptimizing it might happen that the first rotation will end up with latch having a deoptimizing exit. This makes the loop unsuitable for trip-count analysis (say, getLoopEstimatedTripCount) as well as for loop transformations that know how to handle multple deoptimizing exits. It pretty much means that canonical form in multple-deoptimizing-exits case should be with non-deoptimizing exit at latch. Teach loop-rotation to reach this canonical form by repeating rotation. -loop-rotate-multi option introduced to control this behavior, currently disabled by default. [SCEVExpander] Make CanonicalMode handing in isSafeToExpand() more robust (PR50506) isSafeToExpand() for addrecs depends on whether the SCEVExpander will be used in CanonicalMode. At least one caller currently gets this wrong, resulting in PR50506. Fix this by a) making the CanonicalMode argument on the freestanding functions required and b) adding member functions on SCEVExpander that automatically take the SCEVExpander mode into account. We can use the latter variant nearly everywhere, and thus make sure that there is no chance of CanonicalMode mismatch. Fixes https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/50506. [DebugInfo] ValueMapper impl for DIArgList respects IgnoreMissingLocals This patch fixes an issue in which SSA value reference within a DIArgList would be unnecessarily dropped by llvm-link, even when invoking on a single file (which should be a no-op). The reason for the difference is that the ValueMapper does not refer to the RF_IgnoreMissingLocals flag for LocalAsMetadata contained within a DIArgList; this flag is used for direct LocalAsMetadata uses to preserve SSA references even when the ValueMapper does not have an explicit mapping for the referenced SSA value, which appears to always be the case when using llvm-link in this manner.
