extcon: add Maxim MAX3355 driver Maxim Integrated MAX3355E chip integrates a charge pump and comparators to enable a system with an integrated USB OTG dual-role transceiver to function as an USB OTG dual-role device. In addition to sensing/controlling Vbus, the chip also passes thru the ID signal from the USB OTG connector. On some Renesas boards, this signal is just fed into the SoC thru a GPIO pin -- there's no real OTG controller, only host and gadget USB controllers sharing the same USB bus; however, we'd like to allow host or gadget drivers to be loaded depending on the cable type, hence the need for the MAX3355 extcon driver. The Vbus status signals are also wired to GPIOs (however, we aren't currently interested in them), the OFFVBUS# signal is controlled by the host controllers, there's also the SHDN# signal wired to a GPIO, it should be driven high for the normal operation. extcon: palmas: Support GPIO based USB ID detection Some palmas based chip variants do not have OTG based ID logic. For these variants we rely on GPIO based USB ID detection. These chips do have VBUS comparator for VBUS detection so we continue to use the old way of detecting VBUS. dt-bindings: Add missing array size constraints DT properties which can have multiple entries need to specify what the entries are and define how many entries there can be. In the case of only a single entry, just 'maxItems: 1' is sufficient. Add the missing entry constraints. These were found with a modified meta-schema. Unfortunately, there are a few cases where the size constraints are not defined such as common bindings, so the meta-schema can't be part of the normal checks. dt-bindings: remove 'interrupt-parent' from bindings 'interrupt-parent' is often documented as part of define bindings, but it is really outside the scope of a device binding. It's never required in a given node as it is often inherited from a parent node. Or it can be implicit if a parent node is an 'interrupt-controller' node. So remove it from all the binding files.
