| fix mailto notifier regression rejecting valid addresses (issue #1744) The CVE-2026-105326 fix (upstream commit 611d1bd, first shipped in 2.4.20) introduced a regression in copy_validate_address(): the dot-atom-text check rejected all valid periods, so addresses like mailto:user@example.com were refused and no notification was sent.
