x86/CPU/AMD: Prevent improper isolation of shared resources in Zen2's op cache commit c21b90f77687075115d989e53a8ec5e2bb427ab1 upstream. Make sure resources are not improperly shared in the op cache and cause instruction corruption this way. tools/arch/x86/intel_sdsi: Fix meter_certificate decoding [ Upstream commit 09d70ded6c566fd00886be32c26d0b2004ef239c ] Fix errors in the calculation of the start position of the counters and in the display loop. While here, use a #define for the bundle count and size. Fixes: 7fdc03a7370f ("tools/arch/x86: intel_sdsi: Add support for reading meter certificates") Signed-off-by: David E. tools/x86/kcpuid: Fix error handling [ Upstream commit 116edfe173d0c59ec2aa87fb91f2f31d477b61b3 ] Error handling in kcpuid is unreliable. On malloc() failures, the code prints an error then just goes on. The error messages are also printed to standard output instead of standard error. Use err() and errx() from <err.h> to direct all error messages to standard error and automatically exit the program. Use err() to include the errno information, and errx() otherwise. Use warnx() for warnings. While at it, alphabetically reorder the header includes. x86/opcode: Fix sm4rand/sm4rk operand types in x86-opcode-map.txt The legacy forms (non-VEX) of the sm4rand and sm4rk instructions should use Vx instead of Vk (avx512 register) for their destination operand. Update both the kernel and tools copies. x86/insn: Make inat-tables.c suitable for pre-decompression code The inat-tables.c file has some arrays in it that contain pointers to other arrays. These pointers need to be relocated when the kernel image is moved to a different location. The pre-decompression boot-code has no support for applying ELF relocations, so initialize these arrays at runtime in the pre-decompression code to make sure all pointers are correctly initialized.
